Play land

The 600m2 indoor Play land illustrates the dramatic history of how Jammerbugten got its name. During the Viking Age people supplemented their income by tricking the ships close to the coast where they stranded and were subsequently plundered by the population. This is how the Jammer Bay got its name (Jammer means misery), as it is easy to imagin the sailors’ desperate cries for help as they tried to reach shore. The indoor play land has been build around this beach pirate theme. You enter on the deck of a ship where plenty of dangers are lurking; you must e.g. avoid sharks or drowning by jumping from one island to another or walk the plank. Furthermore, there is an 8.5 metres high climbing wall which will test the strength of any ‘brave pirate’.

Indoor water complex

The indoor pool area offers plenty of fun activities for the whole family with a swimming pool, water slide and climbing wall all inspired by the area’s most popular natural sight; the bird cliff Bulbjerg. For the little ones there is also a smaller heated children pool.
